Think positive, it's no where as much ripping as I needed to do when I picked up too many stitches. 6 inches of broken rib button band on a really long cardigan! I finally solved my problem by measuring out 4" blocks and marking with stitch markers. Then working out how many stitches needed to go between the markers and counting them off. It worked much better than "that looks about right". Good luck with your amendments.Chrissyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13254578516714017969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2040845075746925250.post-74768297802702771012010-10-27T22:00:39.062-06:002010-10-27T22:00:39.062-06:00Aaah, chocolate, as far as I'm concerned we sh...Aaah, chocolate, as far as I'm concerned we should all eat some each and every day!
So if you redo that section, picking up fewer stitches next time, does that mean you will have more yarn leftover for seaming the sleeves?
The sweater is going to be great when it is all done.Affiknittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12226218056066734188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2040845075746925250.post-16495191442920051742010-10-27T20:27:33.084-06:002010-10-27T20:27:33.084-06:00Thanks, guys! It's tough to see in the picture, but the part that's wonky is the little section that flares out underneath the cable band. That's the only part that's going. It's 15 rows. Not so bad.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00754250792673037859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2040845075746925250.post-54792272433081638582010-10-27T20:18:01.269-06:002010-10-27T20:18:01.269-06:00Oh no!

The rest of the sweater looks great!

I recently ran out of yarn 10 rows from the end of a project as well - boo! So close, yet so far....

What would we do without chocolate? I remember there was a time in my life where I didn't 'get' chocolate. I even remember thinking 'if I lived the rest of my life and never had another piece of chocolate, I'd be ok with that'. Don't get me wrong, I liked chocolate - I just didn't 'get' it. I think I must have been crazy back then because now, I realize the power of chocolate. I hope it helped make you feel better :)SweetPotatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14942568045031320194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2040845075746925250.post-71705807859521469372010-10-27T19:45:24.388-06:002010-10-27T19:45:24.388-06:00Oh boy, you deserve much chocolate.
